A little bit about me

Hi there!

Let me introduce myself so you can get to know me a little better.


I'm Beth - I'm in my 30s, a mum of two, a wife, and I've had a variety of different jobs over the years. I love to explore and learn about new cultures - travel is one of my very favourite things - and I can't wait to take my little two on adventures sometime soon.

I heard about hypnobirthing back in 2015 when my sister used it with my nephew. Being a little scared about being pregnant and birth, I knew I needed to do a course when I did fall pregnant.

Fast forward to 2018, I was pregnant with my little girl and I found the Calm Births course. I was a complete convert and fell totally in love with hypnobirthing and birth work. I even went on to have a home birth with my daughter.

Fast forward again to 2020 and it was a year of change for me. First of all, there was Covid and all the lockdowns so I ended up being furloughed from work taking care of my daughter. I saw the Calm Births teacher course advertised and something inside told me that this was the right thing to do for me, so I signed up. Not long after that, I found out I was pregnant with our second and did I mention we also picked that year to relocate and move back to my hometown of Nottingham. I started working with expectant couples later that year - go check out the birth stories to read their amazing hypnobirthing stories - and had my little boy in Feb 2021. Phew!


Things obviously slowed down a little then but I gradually continued to build Your Birth Your Way during my little boy's first year, and even undertook a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training course with YogaBellies. That first little step to train as a hypnobirthing teacher has sparked a fire in me to support women at all life stages, but most importantly during pregnancy and postnatally.

I now offer a full range of services to support you during your own journey to parenthood: hypnobirthing, relaxations sessions, and yoga for pregnancy, postnatally and for mums & babies.

Let me be your guide as I help you prepare for a relaxed and comfortable pregnancy, a calm and positive birth, and a smooth transition into parenthood.
